Information We Collect

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, referral source) via Google Analytics. When you connect a social media account to our AutomatedTeams Social tool, we collect the information described in the “Connecting Social Media Accounts” section below.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to inquiries, send requested communications, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Text Messaging (SMS)

AutomatedTeams (operated by eMotiv Marketing & Consulting, Inc.) sends SMS text messages for conversational and customer-care purposes, both for our own communications and on behalf of the small businesses whose phone lines we set up and manage. We collect a mobile number only when you provide it, such as when you text one of our business numbers, give us your number and ask us to text you, or opt in through a form. We use it solely to respond to and coordinate the service you requested, including confirmations, quotes, scheduling, and follow-up. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

We never sell or share your mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text-messaging opt-in data is never shared with anyone or used for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked for.

Data Storage

Contact form submissions are stored in our CRM (Mautic) and sent via email. Newsletter subscriptions are managed through our email platform. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics.

Connecting Social Media Accounts (AutomatedTeams Social)

AutomatedTeams operates a self-hosted social media management tool, “AutomatedTeams Social,” that we use to schedule and publish our own organization’s content to our own connected social media accounts, including TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. When an account is connected, we access data only through each platform’s official API, and only with the permissions granted during that platform’s standard authorization (OAuth) flow.

What We Access and Why

For a connected account, we access basic profile information (such as the account name, avatar, and account identifier) so we can show which account is connected, and permission to publish content that the account owner explicitly creates and submits. Content is published only as the result of a deliberate action taken by the person operating the tool. We do not read private messages, browse other users’ content, or access any data beyond the specific permissions granted.

How We Store, Share, and Delete Platform Data

Authorization tokens and connected-account details are stored securely on our own servers and are used solely to maintain the connection and to publish content the account owner initiates. We do not sell, rent, or trade this data, we do not share it with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to the publishing features described above. This data is retained only while the account remains connected; when an account is disconnected, or upon request, the associated tokens and data are deleted. Platform Compliance

Our access to and use of data from each connected platform follows that platform’s developer terms and policies, including the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We similarly comply with the platform terms of Meta, LinkedIn, and X.
