Political AI consulting, run by someone who has been on the ballot
Most campaigns already use AI the way you'd use a smart intern: a draft here, a summary there. The operation around it, the follow-up, the ads, the email calendar, the donor research, the reports, still runs on whoever has hours left. We build that operation with AI and run it with you, custom to your race or your issue. You approve everything before it goes out.
Who we work with
Candidates, from first-time local races to legislative campaigns.
Independent-expenditure committees running digital in local and state races.
PACs and advocacy organizations moving an issue with a small team.
Government affairs and public-affairs shops that need tracking, drafting and follow-through at a pace their staff can’t keep by hand.
What we build and run
Digital ads and campaign sites
Paid social and search, organic posts, and the fact sites the ads point to. Aimed at the voters who decide your race, with spend and results reported every week.
Email and fundraising programs
Your voice, your approval rhythm, sent from your own domain, and it doesn’t go dark in October.
Donor intelligence
Giving history, employer and context, ready before the ask.
Government affairs support
Legislative and board tracking, reports, meeting coverage, letters, and the follow-through after.
Video and content
Ads, explainers and social made with AI, disclosed as AI where the law or the platform asks, and signed off by you before anything ships.
How an engagement works
A conversation first
We show it on your own work
We build it custom
We run it with you
Who runs it
Eric Linder served in the California State Assembly (60th District, 2012 to 2016) and has spent twenty years in California political operations. He founded AutomatedTeams to build the AI operation he would have wanted in every one of those races. He works in the operation himself; it is not handed to a junior account team.
Examples of the work
An independent-expenditure committee in two local races
We run the whole digital program: paid ads across three platforms, organic posts, and the fact sites the ads point to, with spend and results reported every week.
An organization's government affairs program
Legislative and board tracking, a biweekly report, meeting coverage, and drafting of letters and follow-up, under the organization's own approval process.
A legislative campaign's email program
A house-file fundraising email calendar and donor research, sent from the campaign's own domain.
Straight answers
What is political AI consulting?
Helping a campaign, committee, PAC or advocacy group use AI in its actual operation: the ads, email, fundraising follow-up, research and reporting, not just as a writing assistant. Good political AI consulting also covers the rules: disclosure, approvals, and what must never be automated.
Who does political AI consulting?
A few kinds of firms. Some teach staff to use AI tools, some sell software or back-end services to consultants, and some are agencies that use AI inside their existing work. AutomatedTeams builds the operation for you and runs it with you, led by a former legislator who has worked in California political operations for twenty years.
Is it party-neutral?
Yes. We work with campaigns and organizations, not a party.
Will AI send anything in my name without me?
No. Every email, ad and post is drafted by the operation and released by a person. That is built into our own tools: our system cannot send without a human approval.
How is it priced?
Scoped to the engagement before anything is signed: a retainer where the work is ongoing, or a one-time build you own.
Do you use AI-generated images of real people?
Not in political ads. Political creative uses real footage and documents.
